Free as a bird: The paragliding tandem flight takes you over the unique and year-round nature wonder of the Austrian Stubaital valley.
No particular skills are required for this flight. As a matter of fact, the pilot will explain the safety precautions and the parachuting technique to you. You will do a few exercises on the ground and learn the proper way to execute the start-jump. Finally, you and the guide will put the paragliding equipment on.
Depending on the wind, the pilot will decide the right time to start the flight. If the weather conditions are not good, the flight will have to be postponed.
Here are the locations where the flight will depart from (one or the other):
Elfer in Neustift/Stubai (mountain resort):
- 1,000 m vertical height
- Ascent by cable car
- 15 to 20 minute flight
Schlick 2,000 (in Fulpmes):
- 1,200 m vertical height
- Ascent by cable car
- 15 to 20 minute flight
Once everything is ready, you take off! The guide sits behind you so that you can enjoy the view and fly from the mountain into the valley. In addition, you will receive a souvenir picture and a tandem flight certificate from the pilot to remember this day forever.
